Father kills family for being too "western"

From the intersection of "Religion is good for humanity" Street and Anti-Woman Boulevard:

A father killed his wife and four daughters in their sleep because he could not bear them adopting a more westernised lifestyle, an inquest heard yesterday.

Mohammed Riaz, 49, found it abhorrent that his eldest daughter wanted to be a fashion designer, and that she and her sisters were likely to reject the Muslim tradition of arranged marriages.

Now I wonder how long it will be until somebody posts about how this guy doesn't really represent religion. Or that christianity is somehow different....

Why isn't Christianity different? 'Thou shall not kill' is a commandment afterall.

I think it's a kind of misconception society nowadays. Christianity isn't about bible-thumping fundaloons. Jesus, afterall, preached against the religious fundamentalists of his time, calling them hypocrites. He preached love, not murder, and critical thinking over blind faith. He was a pioneer of humanism. Too bad it's been hijacked by the so called 'religious right'.

Can you tell what this means? Hopefully the meaning is clear. I won't give it away for the confused so read about it here for more information.

By the way, sorry for the dearth of posts. I am alive, just extremely busy. This blog has not been abandoned....

Obviously, it's meant to warn people out of the sun during the hot summer months.

(I know it's a radiation warning. I'm confused why it's a radiation warning for people too dumb to know what to do if they should stray into an area that's marked with radiation warnings.)

I know, I know! "Falling fans/rotors from the ceiling will chop your head/skin off unless you run this way!"

And they were worried about the other sign for radiation dangers being counterintuive? haha.
